Dinner With a Werewolf
He scarfed it down, snorting like a hog.
I nudged the plate, eyes solely on him.
He wandered around, sniffed like a dog.
I eyed the meat, and picked up the limb.
His tongue streaked across bloody lips.
I slid my chair back in silent awe
The flashes of white, whetted teeth tips,
Slobber surrounding his gaping maw.
“Mister, good sir, please let me go free.”
He grinned an awful grin. “This shan’t be.”
