Don't Lose Yourself to Your Phone
I detest being constantly linked to my fellow humans. Though I love them dearly, I long to experience life and introspection unadulterated. How tragic it is, to be deep in thought and wake to the shrill chime of your device, bringing apparent news that just can't wait. Take a second to imagine it as a man. He's short, and short-tempered. He glares at you impatiently, with new tasks every other minute. He doesn't care about your needs or your life; he watches and records your life, displaying it to all. Oh, and how he adores yelling. Shrieking, scolding, and commanding, shouldn't he trouble you? I find him downright irksome.
